About TraDap

Who We Are

TraDap is a secure multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace built specifically to bring trust, safety, and transparency back to online shopping in Nigeria. We connect verified local merchants and international sourcing specialists with buyers who want to shop without fear.

Our platform provides an online marketplace where scams are eliminated, and both buyers and sellers are fully protected. By acting as a secure intermediary, we ensure that every transaction is smooth, verified, and completely transparent.

The Problem We Are Solving

Online shopping in Nigeria has a massive trust problem. Buyers are terrified of “payment before delivery” because of the countless scams, fake social media vendors, and disappearing merchants.
On the other hand, honest sellers are losing money on “payment on delivery” because buyers frequently change their minds, waste delivery money, or refuse to pick up orders after the seller has spent money on shipping.

This mutual distrust cripples local commerce. Tradap was established to permanently fix this broken system.

Our Two-Way Protection Framework

We do not ask buyers to blindly trust sellers, and we do not ask sellers to bear the financial risk of uncommitted buyers. Instead, we act as the trusted intermediary.

1. For Standard Local Orders

We charge a modest 3.5% platform fee to manage and secure your transaction. When a buyer places an order, their money is held safely by Tradap. The seller is notified that the money is secure, giving them the confidence to ship the goods immediately. Once the buyer receives, inspects, and approves the item, the funds are released to the seller. If something goes wrong or a scam is detected, the buyer gets their money back.

2. For International Sourcing and Vehicle Imports

When it comes to high-value imports, such as sourcing used electric or hybrid vehicles from China, we adapt our model to protect large investments. Because overseas factories require upfront payment, we do not hand funds over to unverified middlemen. Tradap coordinates the payment directly to vetted primary suppliers abroad. We then work with on-ground agents at international shipping hubs to verify the physical condition and documentation of the goods before they ever leave the port, monitoring the logistics until the shipment lands safely in Nigeria.
